Fear

I open my eyes to the vast sea 

A huge moon hanging over the horizon whispers 

I am afraid to go forwards

I am afraid to go backwards

In stillness I find peace

I close my eyes to my thoughts 

The stars shine brightly on the stillness

The waves crash then they let go 

There is no stopping of the madness 

I am afraid to say yes

I am afraid to say no

I am afraid there is no tomorrow
